Suitable for Initiated weavers who have worked on a few weaving projects and are ready to take their weaving a step ahead with interesting new techniques.
This workshop gives an introduction to techniques that involves specific colour order in the warp and weft to create seemingly intricate patterns. Guided learning while helping you weave and finish a product that you can carry home.
This workshop includes: All materials provided by the studio. You can use the loom available at the studio.

THEO MOORMAN WEAVING ON RIGID HEDDLE LOOM
Learn to create fascinating freehand designs on the loom.
Suitable for Rigid Heddle Loom owners, who are comfortable with weaving basics and are open to exploring more on their loom. In this workshop, you will learn to weave using the Theo Moorman technique and take home an original piece of woven art.

DOUBLE WEAVING ON THE RIGID HEDDLE LOOM
Weave double-width cloth or layered fabrics on your Rigid heddle loom.
Have you been weaving regular width fabrics for stoles and other products? How about weaving fabrics that are twice the width, yet on the same loom. The possibilities are exciting, right?
In this workshop, you will learn to set up the loom for double weaving using 2 heddles in a Rigid heddle loom and weave a double cloth project to carry home.
This workshop includes: You can use the loom available at the studio. Sampler exploration materials provided by the studio. Yarns of your choice for your project can be purchased at actual costs.

ADVANCED
KROKBRAGD WEAVING
The Norwegian word “Krokbragd” translates as “crooked path”. It is a weft-faced weaving technique using thick weft yarns so you see only the weft in the fabric and not the warp.
In this workshop you will learn to understand Krokbragd weaving grammar, designing patterns for a project, weaving a project and carrying it home.
This workshop includes: Basics of the Krokbragd weaving technique. Directions on how to design and weave a project using the technique. All materials provided by the studio.
