Looms you may work with

Depending on the session, participants work on one of the following looms.

Rigid Heddle Loom
A versatile loom that allows you to explore how woven fabric is constructed through rhythm and repetition.
It offers a clear view of how yarns interlace to form cloth and is often chosen by those interested in
understanding weaving fundamentals.

Inkle Loom
A narrow-band loom focused on sequence and controlled repetition.
Working on an inkle loom highlights the logic of pattern formation and often
appeals to those drawn to structure and order.

Nuno Felting
Nuno felting is a wet felting technique in which loose wool fibre is combined with a sheer  light weight fabric to create a felted textile. Through controlled wetting and movement, the fibres migrate through the fabric and lock into it, changing its structure and handle. This process creates durable material with a nice drape suitable for scarves, garments and wearable arts.

The workshop is hands-on and follows the full process from start to finish. Participants create a nuno felted silk-wool stole and take it back at the end of the session. The workshop is hands-on and follows the full process from start to finish.
