Yarn desires

The studio hosted a set of students from NIFT, from the Textile Design department. They explored the different yarns in the studio like mercerized cotton in different counts and textures, cotton linen, chenille, linen, wool yarns, cashmere yarns and core spun Yoga yarns and also checked on fabrics woven with these materials in different ways and techniques to see how the yarns can be woven or grouped together to get the desired effect. 
 
Enthusiastic about knowing different genres of weaving, they also explored Rigid heddle looms, Inkle looms, SAORI looms & the multi-shaft Treadle looms at the studio
