Interaction with budding Textile designers

Students from NIFT Chennai at the studio exploring different looms & fibre arts tools.

It was nice to interact with them on a few interesting weaving techniques from across the world including Krogbragd, Theo Moorman, Linked warp techniques and Saori style of weaving!

Guess the Saori style caught their interest big time ☺.

The visit was part of ‘Appreciation of world textiles’ subject at NIFT
