Crackle Table runner
Crackle weave is an amazing weave structure creating twill blocks in interesting geometries. With plenty of scope of explore and experiment, the structure is also sturdy as it can be designed with minimal floats. Looks like it is one of those weave structures with very diverse and big potential to play around with!
We have a 8-shaft crackle weave going on in a 8-shaft Ashford Table loom at our Bangalore studio. The cotton-linen 8/2 yarn gives a nice crispness to the table runner. Isn’t it gorgeous?
