Soft cotton chenille throw

Chenille yarn with its unique structure is very soft and velvety. Shuttles & Needles chenille yarn is made from cotton and is super absorbent. After making a cushion cover and a few pouches, we set ourselves to weave a nice throw with a Rigid heddle loom. The warp was 10/2 cotton yarn and the weft, cotton chenille yarn Nm 8.
 
Since we wanted a seam-less throw, the Rigid heddle loom was set up for a double-width weaving with 2 heddles. Weaving was smooth and easy, just like the cosy throw!
